Uniform fitting is always an exciting day!  Our football players and cheerleaders can't wait to get fitted for their uniforms they'll be using for the season.  It's also a day we finalize registration by taking athlete photos, collecting sports physicals and collecting deposit checks.

August 5, 2024 (Monday)

The day we have all been counting down to...the start of our season!   Practices are held at Firefighters Park in Troy.  Varsity Football and JV Football squads meet on the football field in the front of the park, Freshman Football and Flag Football meet on the field behind the playground.  All Cheerleaders will meet in the back past the Freshman/ Flag football field on the Baseball outfield.

August 23, 2024 (Friday)

There is excitement in the air the Friday before our first game of the season!  This is when we hold our traditional Troy Cowboys Pep Rally!  Athletes will practice from 5:30 - 6:30, then all athletes, coaches, and families will meet on the big field in the front of Firefighters Park.  Athletes will be introduced, cheerleaders will perform, and we will all get pumped up for our first game!  Food and fun follow under the pavilion.

Individual and team photos are taken at Firefighters Park.  Make sure your athlete(s) are in their full uniform!  The photo time for your athletes squad will be emailed prior to picture day.

Coaches will let you know what jersey to wear and what pieces of the cheer uniform to wear closer to the date.

Date:  November 9, 2024 (Saturday - All Day Event)

The big day all of our cheerleaders spend their season preparing for...Cheer Off!  All cheer squads across the league compete in cheer and dance categories.

Date:  Wednesday November 6, 2024 (6:30-7:30pm)

Cowboy Nation comes to support our Cheerleaders for their dress rehearsal for Competition.  Cheer and Dance routines will be performed by Freshman, JV and Varsity and Flag performance.  Your chance to see what our girls have been working on all season and help get the nerves out.

Parents:  please wear Cowboy swag

Our annual Homecoming Game celebrates the hard work of our athletes and the support from our parents.  Parents are invited to escort their player onto the field and are encouraged to make posters to decorate the stadium.

The day our tiny but tough flag football players battle to see who's team is the best in the league!

Coaches, athletes, and their families gather to celebrate our hard work throughout the season.  This special event will be held at San Marino Club and includes coach speeches, athlete awards, and more.  This event is optional and pre-purchased tickets are required.

Date:  Weekend of October 12/13th, 2024

Our annual "Pink Out" game is held every October in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Athletes are given special pink items to wear with their uniforms and we encourage parents and spectators to wear pink and "Pink Out" the stadium.  We hope that by promoting awareness of this disease, we can encourage regular screenings which are key in detecting and successfully treating breast cancer.

Time:  First Game kicks off at 8am - Last game kicks off at 6pm

Hosting:  6 playoff games - the top 8 teams at each level make the playoffs.  Half the games will be Saturday 10/27 at Madison Heights and we will host the other half.  

Teams:  2 for Freshman, 2 for JV and 2 for Varsity - teams determined by ranking and by OMYFA
