VOLUNTEER COMMITTMENTS

As an all-volunteer organization, we require families to complete five volunteer commitments per athlete registered.  Why?  Because for each home game, we need nearly 80 people to make things run smoothly.  That number doesn’t include our coaches, assistant coaches, team moms, or board members!  Volunteering also helps you meet other Cowboys families and become truly engaged in the sport your child loves.

Each game day, we have four games (Flag, Freshman, JV, and Varsity).  You can sign up to volunteer at any of these games (for example, if your child is on the Freshman Cheer or Football squad, you can volunteer for the Flag, Freshman, JV or Varsity games).

The only positions you can watch your child while you volunteer are spotter, chain gang, and announcer.  For this reason, lots of parents choose to volunteer at the game prior (since their athlete has to arrive at the field one hour before game time).

Please be sure to fulfill the volunteer spot you sign up for.  Game officials will not begin our games until some of these required volunteer spots have someone physically there and ready to help.

Thank you for being an important member of the Troy Cowboys family!
